TET Triathlete
A variation on road time trial this frame is specificly for the triathlete. Very upright with a lowered head tube for better positioning ala QR. Top tubes are level on these frames with an extended seat tube. Usually built around 26″ road wheels. There are two geometries for this class.
Construction
- TIG welded oversized steel or aluminum
- reinforcing rings on head tube
- Breeze Drop outs w/o eye
- 1.5″ od cromoly 68 mm bb shell
- Brazed on seat collar for campy/sugio style seat pin w/ reinforced slot
- Seat stays attached at the seat cluster
- 130mm rear spacing
- 43mm brake reach
- 650(rd 26),or 700c
- 1″ headset, Built to fit the fork of your choice
Standard braze ons
- 2 water bottle mounts
- split stops on top tube 7 o’clock
- lever bosses or sti stops
- pump peg
- chain rest
- split stop under chain stay
- braze on frontt derailleur (a must because of the steep seat angle)
